Edible glitter is used on cakes as a decoration. Sprinkle on cream cakes and ice-cream at the time of serving for sparkling results. If sprinkled on dry sweets or dry desserts i.e. on chocolates, fudge etc the shimmer stays indefinitely, however on a wet surface it melts after some time.
